By using the website at reddingconcretecontractor.com, requesting a quote, scheduling work, or entering into a service agreement with Redding Concrete Company, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
These terms apply to all visitors to our website and all customers who engage our services. We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
Redding Concrete Company provides residential and commercial concrete contractor services in Redding, CA and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to concrete driveway installation, patio construction, foundation work, flatwork, retaining walls, decorative concrete, and related site work.
All services are subject to site conditions, permit availability, material lead times, and weather. We reserve the right to decline a project if site conditions make the work unsafe or if the scope falls outside our service offering.
We provide written estimates based on information available at the time of the site visit. An estimate is not a guaranteed final price. Changes to the scope of work, unforeseen site conditions (such as buried obstructions or unstable soil), or customer-requested changes after work begins may result in price adjustments.
Any change to the scope of work that affects cost will be communicated to you before the additional work is performed. We will not proceed with cost-affecting changes without your approval. Verbal approvals may be followed up in writing at our discretion.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. Material prices and labor costs can change, and an estimate issued more than 30 days prior may need to be revised.
Project start dates are estimates. Scheduling is subject to permitting timelines, crew availability, material delivery, and weather conditions - particularly relevant in a climate like Redding, CA, where extreme heat and seasonal rain affect when concrete can be safely poured.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or permits have been pulled may result in charges to recover those costs. We will always discuss any applicable charges with you before they are assessed.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions or other factors outside our control. We will notify you promptly and work with you to find the next available date.
Payment terms are outlined in each written estimate or contract. Typical terms require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon satisfactory completion of the project. Specific payment schedules for larger projects will be detailed in the project agreement.
Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to late fees. If payment is not received after reasonable attempts to collect, we reserve the right to pursue available legal remedies, including placing a mechanic lien on the property as permitted under California law.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of the estimate. We reserve the right to require payment by specific methods for certain project sizes.
For projects that require a permit from the applicable municipality, Redding Concrete Companywill apply for and manage the permit process on the customer's behalf, with the permit fee included in or added to the project cost. Customers are responsible for providing accurate property information and notifying us of any HOA requirements, easements, or restrictions that may affect the work.
Work will not begin on permitted projects until the required permit has been obtained. Delays in permitting are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of our agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redding Concrete Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, our services, or any errors in our work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that project. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.
We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of the estimate, underground utilities not properly marked by the customer or applicable utility marking services, or customer-directed work that deviates from our professional recommendations.
The website at reddingconcretecontractor.com and all content on it are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Warranties on completed concrete work, if any, are provided separately in the written project agreement and are subject to the terms stated therein. Normal concrete behavior - including hairline cracking as a slab cures and settles - is not covered under workmanship warranties unless it results from defective materials or installation practices that fall below accepted industry standards.
If you have a concern about our work or a billing dispute, we ask that you contact us directly first. Most issues can be resolved through a direct conversation. You can reach us at estimates@reddingconcretecontractor.com.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Any unresolved legal disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Redding, CA, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless both parties agree in writing to an alternative resolution process.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of CA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Shasta County, CA. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
